Machine Learning Engineer

We have been creating land for 150 years and will continue to do so in the future. Therefore we are looking for clever candidates, who will reinforce our team.

As a Machine Learning Engineer

• You will be part of the technical department automation, which is responsible for design and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
• You will focus on research & development, calculations that support our core business(es), mainly our dredging vessels, focussing on new systems and system improvements.
• You will mainly be working from our office in Zwijndrecht but occasionally you could also travel to our vessels abroad.

As a Machine Learning Engineer

• You have a master engineering degree and a strong affinity for mechanics, mathematical models and simulations, deep learning.
• You are fascinated by technics, and want to understand how things work.
• You are an analytical thinker, able to comprehend, design and improve systems.
• You have strong communication skills, necessary for project development with internal clients and contractors, as well for instruction of the crew on board.
