Support insurers develop new, transparent, personalized products (e.g. Pay As/How You Drive, Pay as You Live, cyber risk exposures, e-bikes and autonomous vehicles, risks coming from the sharing economy, etc.); this will be done via:
benchmarking exercises
identification of target clients
use of dynamic and innovative pricing techniques.
Pricing optimization via non-traditional actuarial techniques (i.e. usage of open data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques), conduct profitability studies and support with portfolio rationalization exercises.
Help our Insurance clients automate and enhance underwriting, via better risk selection through the use of open data, predictive models, the linkage with chat bots, and much more.
Work on claims optimization engagements aimed at reducing claim handling time
Optimize claims triage, conduct claims leakage assessments, early claims fraud detection and individual reserving.

What are we looking for?
Master degree in a relevant field: actuarial science, economics, mathematics, physics, applied statistics or econometrics
Relevant professional experience (3 to 10 years) in the insurance sector and/or a consultancy firm
Solid knowledge in at least one of the following areas: pricing & product development, underwriting, claims management and/or reserving
Knowledge of applying data/predictive analytics in one of the above domains
Experience with data systems and/or analytics tools (Python a.o. TensorFlow, Numpy, Panda, and R)
Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient level of business English
